Mitzvah Fair: Park Cleanup

Advance registration is closed for Community Mitzvah Day. Walk-ins are welcome. See you on Sunday!

Come and be part of caring for High School Park, which includes 11 acres right in the center of Elkins Park (at the corner of High School Road and Montgomery Ave.)!

Projects for all ages and abilities! Work will include, weeding, spreading of wood chips and mulch, collecting trash, sweeping the long stairs, and even planting some of the new gardens we are working on this year.

Wear long pants, long sleeves, closed shoes and maybe even a hat! Don’t forget to bring a water bottle too. We have gloves and some tools but you can also bring your favorites if you like!

Anyone under 13 needs to be accompanied by an adult.

This outdoor volunteer event is weather permitting.
