Food Packing: All Ages

Each month, volunteers come together at JRA’s Northeast Philadelphia warehouse to pack and deliver kosher food for individuals and families in Greater Philadelphia struggling with hunger. During our All Ages Packing shift, we welcome volunteers of all backgrounds, ages, and abilities to help pack pantry staples, fresh produce and other household supplies into boxes, which will be delivered by other volunteers later in the day. We work in a giant human assembly line, so volunteers will either be able to pass food out or walk around with the boxes while the food gets placed into them. This is an indoor volunteer opportunity.

Closed-toed shoes are required.

Hosting Organization’s COVID Policy: Masks are optional for all participants. Adult and kid KN95 masks are available on-site for those who need them.
