Feed the Homeless

Advance registration is closed for Community Mitzvah Day. Walk-ins are welcome. See you on Sunday!

We will be making soup at Beth Israel to support a homeless project, Better Days Ahead. The director, staff and volunteers of Better Days Ahead will take the soup that we make and feed homeless persons in Phoenixville and Pottstown. The volunteers of Better Days Ahead will take the soup to a homeless shelter, where they will heat it and feed 200 people.

This is an indoor volunteer opportunity.

We welcome donations of the following items:

• Canned corn
• Canned diced tomatoes
• Canned garbanzo beans (chick peas)
